Default Controlling COM Port using VBA

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to use COM1 Port(DB9) in my desktop to glow some LED's.

I tried with VBA but I could not make it.

Anybody know how to control the DB9 pins using VB or any other software?

Regards,
Karthik

Yeah, lots of languages are out there. But I suppose VB is a fast way to prototype an idea using a GUI. I'd doubt one would be concerned with process speed and efficiency, when practicality and ease is a greater concern.

My thoughts anyway

Visual C++ can be used too for accessing DB9 port.
