Default What does "17'' monitor" mean?

hey,i m pallavi agarwal..in b.tech 2nd year.....i got struck with this question,plz tell d appt. answer.

Pallavi,

The monitor screen size is measured from the bottom left corner to the top right corner ( that is, the diagonal length ).
