Don't you think the battery life is 'very' low? I'd expect at least 6 hours with that kind of configuration.
Or , am I expecting too much?

Laugh- the nano of the laptop.. good one!
Yeah, Biggie, in order to be that economical something has to be left behind if to remain compact. Battery life, speed and memory are usually the items sacrificed. Someone will produce an aftermarket battery with longer life if it catches on, maybe a CEan?

Re: HCL launches WORLD's cheapest laptop
um... that might raise the price a couple rupees....
That is a great idea Biggie, though you might need the new Mac w/o the drive as the mechanical motion of a drive would need a lot of power for the high rpm motion. This would probably make too large of a panel that would not be mobile with current solar cell technology? Maybe small screen as well. Was your idea just to charge battery while turned off or to actively power the laptop? I am assuming actively powering the unit with my suggestion.
gohm opens the door... Alright IT guys, jump in here and explain/create this solar laptop!

Re: HCL launches WORLD's cheapest laptop
This is amazing small thing. Most of us practically dont need huge configurations on our laptops. Those who aim to just surf net, just blog, just give prentations or just chatting or internet video chatting, i believe nothing can be better then this one. Can anyone tell, can we install A normal win xp professional on this one ?
