Infosys entry level interview questions collection

I remember, in 2003, Infosys recruitment procedure revolved a lot around solving analytical/aptitude questions & puzzles. Candidates successful in written test were asked to appear for personal interview.

If we have people from Infosys, or have appeared for Infosys interviews before, help us build a collection of questions that were asked in interviews. If you are a senior fella from Infosys , tell us what type of questions do you normally ask during interviews .

Well the recruitment procedure is the same, i attended it on July 2008. it consisted of two sections , analytical and verbal. The personal interview was purely based on my CV.

I am placed in Infosys .I was asked questions mostly from my RESUME.
1).Questions based on hObbies
2).Puzzles from Shakuntla devi(thats a book of puzzles)
3).Why Infosys??
4).I was asked to speak continuosuly for 2 mins on Valentine's Day!! ??
and some other questions from resume
Atlast the interviewer told me if i wanted to ask him something..

Thats all!

Question # 4 is crap. I hate such questions being asked in Interview. Total waste of time.

Tks Ankur, It is good interview questions. I don't help questions from Infosys but I have from Microsoft. I think it near same:

Microsoft job interview include 98 questions as follows:

1. Riddles Microsoft interview

It include 18 interview questions about riddles such as:
. Why is a manhole cover round?
. How many cars are there in the USA?

2. Algorithms Microsoft interview

It include 36 interview questions about Algorithms such as:
. Describe advantages and disadvantages of the various stock sorting algorithms?
. Implement an algorithm to reverse a linked list. Now do it without recursion?

3. Thinkers Microsoft interview

It include 14 interview questions about thinkers such as:
. Why do you want to work at Microsoft?
. If you are going to receive an award in 5 years, what is it for and who is the audience?

4. Applications Microsoft interview

It include 10 interview questions about applications such as:
. If you could add any feature to Microsoft Word, what would it be?
. How would you go about building a keyboard for 1-handed users?

5. Microsoft phone interview

It include 20 phone interview questions such as:
. How would you design a toaster? (sometimes elevator).
. How would you debug your toaster? (sometimes elevator).
