of course the book totally rocks...
though the story and the charecters are similar to earlier books, this one differs in the sense that it's based on some heart wrenching real life events. And some of the pages really stir your soul.. my favorite one was when the 12 yr kid, Ali, shows unbelievable patriotism in front of the aussie selectors... though its a bit far feched for the boy to have such high levels of maturity and respect, I guess, India is no longer a bad place to live !! and since the main theme is cricket, it got me hooked right away, one look at the cover, I had decided to buy it even before I saw the author's name... Call it judging the book by its cover ...

TO be honest i didn't like the book at all..After reading the previous two books of Chetan Bhagat obviously expectations were high but to me this book wasn't that great... !!!
I would say it was one of " the mistakes " by Chetan Bhagat!! He is definitely better than that!!
