Dell will be emerging with Lightning, Thunder, Flash and Smoke
Yes! Dell is striking the Cell-Phone market with all this together. Dell is emerging with its smart phones. It is grand news for all the phone buffs around. The news hit the market when some images of the cell phones were leaked.
The Dell Lightning will be a Windows Phone 7. It is a portrait slider. It has 1GHz QSD8250 Snapdragon processor, WVGA 4.1-inch OLED display, AT&T and T-Mobile 3G, five mega pixel auto focus camera, 1GB of flash with 512MB RAM plus 8GB of storage on a Micro SD card (non-user-replaceable, we're assuming), GPS, accelerometer, compass, FM radio, and full Flash support including video playback.
#-Link-Snipped-#The Dell Thunder will have a sleek design, a 4.1-inch OLED touch screen display with a WVGA resolution, and with a custom Dell Stage UI and Google’s mobile operating system. It will have Facebook and Twitter integration. At the same time, the handset includes support for Flash Player 10.1.
The Dell Flash is expected with Android 2.2, Qualcomm MSM7230 core processor at 800MHz, 3.5 inch WVGA LCD screen, 5 mega pixel auto focus camera with image stabilization and smile and blink detection, 512MB RAM and ROM with SD Card expandable up to 64GB, Bluetooth 3.0 and Wi-Fi, TV-out, and 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Dell Smoke will have built in 2.8in QVGA display and a fixed portrait QWERTY keyboard. It will have a 5MP Camera, SD Card expandable up to 32GB, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDRÂ and Wi-Fi, with dual-mic noise canceling technology.
All these phones are expected to be officially released by 2011.
