Apple iPad Officially Launching In India On January 28th. Would You Buy It?

The Economic Times Of India reporter Radhika has reported that Apple iPad tablet will be officially made available in India on January 28. India had to wait about 1 year to get the iPad officially at the time when Apple is rumored to launch the iPad2 in the USA. But better late than never.[IMG]

Price Of Apple iPad In India:-

Unlike iPhone the prices won't be 'too high'. The prices of the models will vary according to the storage capacity. The wifi only models will cost between Rs. 25000 - Rs. 37000 and 3G+WiFi model price will vary from Rs. 33000 to Rs. 45000.

It would be interesting to watch the competition among the tablets in India grow with iPad official launch. In my opinion the price is still very high, considering the features that iPads rivals are offering. The Samsung Galaxy tab offers Android OS and costs only Rs. 27000 in India and offers more features than iPad.

I believe a 3G+WiFi would be an ideal choice. It however depends upon your budget.

Unless you're keen on buying iPad (iPad 2 is launching soon), I'd recommend you to look at the Samsung Galaxy Tab. It's cheaper than iPad and has all the features any student would need. Look here: https://www.crazyengineers.com/forum/ce-reviews/38619-ipad-vs-samsung-galaxy-tab.html
